M.C. Dean opened the doors to its newest 168,000-square-foot building on its Modular Mission Critical™ manufacturing campus in Caroline County, Virginia, during a ribbon cutting ceremony with Governor Glenn Youngkin on Tuesday. With a total campus investment of $83 million to date, this building marks the completion of the company’s five-year $63 million Phase 3 expansion, more than doubling the original commitment to the county and adding more than 500 skilled jobs to the region.
M.C. Dean recently broke ground on a new 168,000-square-foot Modular Mission Critical™ manufacturing and storage facility at its Center for Innovation and Industry in Caroline County, Virginia. The construction marks the third phase of what is now a $48.5 million expansion effort since 2019, which is well above the original commitment by the company set for $25 million.
After more than a decade of investments in modular delivery under the name ModularMEP™, M.C. Dean has announced a new brand name for its modular product line. Modular Mission Critical™ comprises the full suite of products designed and manufactured by M.C. Dean, including power, communications, security, life safety, mechanical, and automation systems.
Governor Ralph Northam delivered the keynote speech at a ribbon-cutting event for M.C. Dean, Inc.’s $25M manufacturing center expansion. The center serves as the home to Modular Mission Critical™, M.C. Dean’s line of customizable, fully integrated, tested, and secure modular electrical buildings, rooms, and assemblies.
M.C. Dean was issued a patent for the Modular Data Center Support Rack System and Installation Method from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The rack system, manufactured at the Modular Mission Critical™ facility, streamlines electrical configuration, integration, and transport of vital data center infrastructure.
M.C. Dean broke ground on a new 84,000-square-foot modular manufacturing and systems integration facility at its Center for Innovation and Industry in Caroline County, Virginia. The groundbreaking marks the second phase of the $25 million expansion program announced in 2019.
The Engineering-News Record (ENR) recognized the University of Virginia (UVA) Health System, University Hospital Expansion (UHE) as a top regional construction initiative. M.C. Dean and its Modular Mission Critical™ team delivered 14 modular electrical rooms and specialized rooms to care for COVID-19 patients during the pandemic.
